13h15-14h15 The global Impact of Chinese norms on EVs

The presentation explores the impact of Chinese regulations on the global EV industry. While a great deal of research has been done on the impact of these regulations on the Chinese market, what will be their impact on the global market? In particular, will they affect the performance and architecture of EVs developed by global manufacturers?

14h15-15h15 Accelerating the transition to electric mobility in Germany

Heike Proff (Université de Duisburg)

The presentation is based on a new electric mobility forecast developed together by the University of Duisburg-Essen with Deloitte Consulting. It stresses the necessity of forecasts in times of long-term discontinuous changes (as in transition to electric mobility.) It shows that with the just decided climate actions the aims of the German government (10 Mio. electric cars in 2030) cannot be reached, but simulations help to find approaches to accelerate electric mobility.
