Schéma des travaux de Julien Nicolas

As part of the ongoing ERC THERMONANO project, Julien NICOLAS and PhD student Jingming CAO from the NANOMED team, in collaboration with Anne RODALLEC and Sébastien BENZECRY from the Marseille Cancer Research Center (Inria/Inserm/ CNRS/Aix-Marseille University), have developed a mathematical model combining pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics that allows them to predict the efficacy of polymeric prodrugs administered subcutaneously.

This work offers promising prospects, suggesting that these models become key tools for optimizing innovative nanomedicine-based treatments by reducing costs and the need for animal testing.
