We were delighted to welcome an Egyptian delegation to Université Paris-Saclay for the kick-off of our Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (MIC) program with the Faculty of Pharmacy – Cairo University and the Faculty of Pharmacy – Beni-Suef University. It was a pleasure to host Prof. Ahmed Elshafeey and Prof. Shahira Fawzy, Deans of the respective Faculties of Pharmacy, as well as Prof. Amira Abo Youssef, coordinator of the program at Beni-Suef University.
Throughout the week, the delegation had the opportunity to observe research activities at the Institut Galien Paris-Saclay (UMR CNRS 8612), the Faculté de Pharmacie – Université Paris-Saclay, and the Graduate School Health and Drug Sciences through visits to several research laboratories, technological platforms, and teaching facilities. The visit provided an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas, explore potential research collaborations, and strengthen academic ties between our institutions.
We were also pleased to welcome Prof. Binh Nguyen from Vietnam National University, HCMC, Hanoi, as part of our parallel Erasmus+ MIC program with Vietnam, generating further opportunities for scientific and academic exchanges between the three countries.
